"My mother was always there for me, supporting me and

helping me to overcome the difficulties and challenges."

"My mum has been so many things to me in my life. My rock, my

mum, my dad (dad was not around), my bestfriend, my wisdom,

and now an amazing and supportive Nanny to my children."

"She showed me how to make Anzac biscuits, jam drops,

shortbread and much more. My brother and I then had treats for

school during the week, I really treasure this memory."

"My fondest memories of her was when she was pregnant with

my little brother and started to knit a yellow sweater, matching

                                                hat, and bootees"

"Living in the Philippines was tough but mum was always there

for us. We had food, roof over our heads, clothes to wear. We
had education and never once considered ourselves poor."

"I can remember my Mum looking after 11 children and helping

on the farm we had in a small country village in Germany. We
did not have electricity until I was 8 years old but I had a

beautiful childhood experiences where we could run around the

yard, chancing chickens and collecting eggs, climbing trees and

always had some one to play with."
