Let your cat be “up in the air”

Cats love being high up, especially when they can look down
on us mere mortals. Cats instinctively feel safe when they are
in a high position and also concealed.

There are several ways to bring in a stimulating
                                                environment:

                                                • include multiple scratchy poles and pads,
                                                    especially different vertical or horizontal
                                                    types made of different materials
                                               • consider a water feature: a simple shallow
bowl, perhaps to include a small solar
     • You may build your own cat shelves and ramps or just fountain
place cat stands and furniture (such as tables and
shelves) together, to provide the cats ability to jump These items can easily be added to a room or
up in steps or stages. And also jump down. an outdoor enclosure.
     • Cats need several flat surfaces, large enough to safely
        sleep there.
     • Hammocks are also useful to provide multiple high levels
and sleeping places. You can make your own from
synthetic canvas, shade-cloth, or other material, they can
be rectangles or triangles or any shape. Ensure they are
fastened safely. Ensure cats can easily and safely get in
