 VERY IMPORTANT PEOPLE NEEDED URGENTLY!

Monika’s DoggieRescue is urgently seeking some very special people - committed Foster Carers to help look after
abandoned dogs and cats! DoggieRescue is currently almost at full capacity and for the desperate animals waiting
on Death Row in pounds ( like the dog above ) that means less chance of being rescued. Fostering a dog or cat for
DoggieRescue is not for everyone, which makes the right people hard to find. DoggieRescue can SAVE MORE but
only with the help of some special people with COMMITMENT, EMPATHY, PATIENCE and lots of LOVE to give.

Do you have what it takes? To be a Doggie Rescue Foster Carer, you need to provide a loving home until their
forever home is found. Committing to a dog/cat until they are adopted means we can rescue another animals life
from a Kill Pound in their place. Before you consider becoming a carer it is important to make sure that you can
make the commitment. For these abandoned pets, who have been so let down by humans in the past, to be placed
into a home only to be returned a few weeks later can have a devastating effect. “It is important to think this through,
maybe come and meet a few dogs/cats before taking one home. You will have a Foster Care Co-Ordinator to help
you with any issues but it is not something to be done on the spur of the moment, much as we love to see the dogs/
cats go home with caring families. No matter how many foster carers we have...it is never enough!” says Monika

In our special ‘FOSTER EDITION’ of DoggieRescue Magazine we will share stories from some of
our foster carers and showcase some dogs who would greatly benefit from a loving foster home.
