It’s very common for foster carers to end up adopting their charges.
I am guilty! Twice in fact! Both times it has been my teeny, tiny, little
old man doggies. Nelson and Scooter. Both were 13 when I initially
fostered them. Nelson was first. I had him for 2 glorious years before
he passed away at 15. I thought I knew so much, but he taught me
so much. Unconditional love is where it's at! Scooter is still with me.
He is a cheeky and spritely 16 now. That's him with his tongue out
looking every so comfy in my lap. He makes me laugh numerous
times per day and dazzles me with his acceptance of all that comes
his way. We joke at home every time the Comparethemarket Meerkat
ad comes on TV. Don't you think he looks like a little meerkat?

Now, as the Foster Care Co-ordinator at Doggie Rescue I am also always available to talk to anybody who is
interested in fostering. Below are eight DR doggie who would greatly benefit from the one on one attention a
