Hayet Haj Khlil
Hayet Haj Khalil alias Cygne De Vie is born on 10 April
1968 in Mahdia, a city in Tunisia. From her father, she
learned the perseverance and devotion for work and from her
mother she inherited kindness and tenderness. Hayet lived
in a patriarchal family, where art is glorified and literature
and science are wings to reach a better life.
Sherished by her uncles, her aunts, her six brothers and her
sister, she is now grateful for the smile they painted for ever
on her face. That smile is also the result of devoted teachers
and helpful friends. She had her baccalaureate in "Lycée
mixte de Mahdia, where the shy girl was not making noise
but was writing her future with dignity.
Four years after, she had a master degree in combined
languages ( English/ Italian) from the Bourguiba institute of
languages ( I.B.L.V.). In 1992, she begun teaching French
language in the south of Tunisia. There, she learned to be
more close to pupils and to discover the unseen thanks to
their hospitality. In 1994, she was married to her beloved, the
engineer Lotfi Hachani and they got two blessed sons: Mehdi
and Walid, future engineers, too.
After the Jasmin revolution in 2011, she started to Express
her thoughts, to share photos of flowers of her garden, to
encourage pupils learning, to emancipate the spirit of both
women and men on her Facebook page. Being a polyglot (
Arabic as a mother tongue, French as the second language in
Tunisia, English as a third language at school, Italian as a
combined language at university), she felt that all humans
sing the same language, that of the heart. Thanks to her will
to unify souls from the five continents, Cygne de vie had
birth one night and from that time it became the nest of her
dreams and the wings of her soul.
In classroom, on the blackboard she invites her pupils to
travel through letters and on her Facebook page, she inspires
and gets inspired, she teaches and gets wisdom, knowledge
and hope. She makes from her own photos lessons and from
her actions a school for love, peace and art. From 2017 she
started writing in anthologies compiled by the prestigious
Indian poet, the Golden Book of World Record holder, man
of virtue Mr Sethi Krishan Chand and his wife Mrs Sunita
Sethi. My research paper about pictorial poetry in
Expanding Horizons is my first print in the world of edition.
