Nostalgic Memory

The nostalgic rendition of a good old life led in Swiss
countryside with neighbours and friends having a
cooperative and collaborative community life. Kudos
to you for writing such a community oriented poem.

                   Professor Cijo Joseph Chennelil

Sir I can't forget my visit to our precious Swiss
ambassador's village home the best part was
ceremonial send off to us both with our national
anthem and Swiss national anthem ! This memory I
treasure it to the core of my heart !

Overwhelming joy ! The journey in the first half !
                   Oh Swiss friends
                   How can I forget
                   The magnanimous and loft heart
As high as the mountain In that buell village
As if it were a sanctuary of rustic mode
                   Where our old friends resided
                   The ever grateful kind couples
                   And that soil
                   Which emitted aroma of love
                   In its bewildering smell
                   Oozing from the soil
As divine as the couples' hearts
                   The pristine joy pervading across
                   Floating over atmosphere
                   And green grassy carpets
                   With sound of Swiss bell
                   Resounding and alluring
And that unforgettable warm send off
                   With our national
                   Anthem
Of Jana Gana Man From your wine cellar piano
                   From your lovely home
And we returned with heavy heart
                   Mesmerised in joy
                   And ever welcoming arms !
