Encomium Preface
I am highly pleased to write a Encomium on an Artistic Anthology of Research Papers on Pictorial Poetry framed in
a beautiful Coffee Table Book, "BLISS" which has been compiled by Mr K.C. Sethi & his wife Mrs. Sunita Sethi. It is
a wonderful pictorial binder of 40 research papers shared by renowned poets and research scholars from all over the
world. They have laboured a lot to make them excellent pieces of research work. On speaking about this anthology, I
begin with the picture of the cover which itself speaks the language of its picturesque where in the seeds of coffee
reflect ideas and mug is indicative of storing those ideas.It also meant that ideas are free flowing so everything can't be
stored.
It is matter of great pride for Mrs. and Mr. Sethi whose concept of pictorial poetry goes for research assignment in the
hands of poets and researchers of literature and out of them fifteen research are from overseas. I have come to know
that Mr K C Sethi along with his wife originated a concept of pictorial in coffee table books in 21st century and
created a history when their coffee table book, PASSION became first pictorial poetry coffee table book in the world
as accepted and declared by Golden Book of World Records, Asia Book of Records and India Book of Records.
Highly impressed with their world level records and achievements.
On my visit to Hyderabad, I was presented a historical coffee table book on Daman, Diu, Goa, Dadra-Nagar Haveli
during Portuguese Regime (1510-1961) by Mrs and Mr. Sethi. On going through I could find it to be the best
historical coffee table book ever made on Portuguese history in India later as I am told it is also an Asia & India
Record Holder. Daman & Diu Government released this coffee table book in 2016. Now they are compiling in
Gujrati Language to meet the need of people of the land. I appreciate this genius couple who have worked day and
night to help other poets in drafting their coffee table books free of charges to promote this novice concept. So far
they have compiled ten coffee table books with pictorial poetry and two in history. I wish to congratulate this great
couple on being conferred upon lifetime career & achievement awards once in Italy and twice in India.

On their visit to Galatone, we could meet the great couple; Mrs. Sunita Sethi & Mr. K.C. Sethi who were invited
by our Verbamulandi Art and Poetry Forum in Italy to attend a grand festival of Galatone -2018 and to judge
the entries of Art & poetry made by participants from Italy and abroad. We were highly impressed to see their 5
pictorial poetry coffee table books and two pictorial binders which were launched all together by the dignitaries
on 5th may 2018 in a famous church of Galatone. We first time came across such a beautiful combination of Art
and Poetry in their works. All their coffee table books were highly appreciated by the participants and visitors
who come from all over the world to see Famous Galatone Festival.
Looking into their great contribution to Art and Literature, since they originated a new concept of pictorial
poetry in coffee table books in 21st century , our organization decided to honour him as father of Pictorial poetry
and conferred upon him a life time career award on 6th may 2018 in a grand function held at Galatone.
It added more to our joys when we came to know that their first coffee table, "Passion' has been declared as a
world record holder through Golden Book of World Records, Asia Book of Records and India Book of Records.
Now I wish to speak on this challenging project of genius Sethi couple who have taken up pictorial poetry to new
heights in social and paper media. I have seen their day to day postings to promote this beautiful concept of
poetry and photography. Mr Sethi being an international photography hobbyist has taken full use of his clicks
and framed them beautifully in their pictorial poetry coffee table books.
I had never thought that they will go for a research assignment on their concept and invite research papers to
forum a pictorial coffee table binder in form of an anthology of research papers on the topic of Pictorial Poetry. I
am pleased to see this great work in your hands now. While going through the pages, I find some self speaking
pictures with different caption which define itself what Pictorial Poetry is; It is matter of great pride for them that
15 research papers are received from overseas which show the interest of poets and research scholars in their great
concept for which I personally congratulate them .
