MY GRANDMA
A candid conversation between a grandchild and his grandma.
CHILD: Grandma, are you a teacher?
GRANDMA: I don’t know. However, people come to me for some relaxation or relief.
C: What is there in a teacher which is not in you?
G: It is your job to find out dear child.
C: I see the same patience, smiling face, motherly touch, humility and words of motivation in all
my teachers.
G: A teacher is one who understands the needs of the listeners and gives more time to inculcate
human values into the learners along with academics.
C: What can you say about this mango seed?
G: Can you imagine that this simple mango seed will grow into a huge tree one day and give
thousands and thousands of sweet mangoes to millions of people in future and spread shade, peace
and harmony.
Can you imagine where this strength of becoming a huge tree is concealed in a very small mango
seed?
Start imagining your life in this mango seed. Be confident about your talents and use the opportunities
that you come across and flourish and grow like a huge mango tree facing all the odds and hail
others with your sweet fruits of humanity.
Take all the challenges of your life as opportunities and turn all your worries into happiness with
your unique approach of positivity. Consider you are a seed, full of potentials to grow big and give
shadow to millions as a successful leader and a successful human being.
C: My grandma was not less than a leader, teacher, a human being with full of positivity,
motivation, inspiration and support. Just like my favourite teacher my grandma is my best teacher
even now .She was not qualified academically but she had all the necessary qualities that few of
the present day teachers have .They all are our GURUS. Let’s love and respect all our gurus.
