SANJAY DUTT KICKS OFF KARAN

bhishek Varman’s period drama ‘Kalank’ took off in April, with Alia Bhatt,

Varun Dhawan, Kunal Khemu and Madhuri Dixit, with Sonakshi Sinha
Ajoining in recently. Now, Mirror has learnt that Sanjay Dutt kickstarts his

shoot today.

A source from the sets reveals that Sanjay will be shooting with Sonakshi and Aditya Roy Kapur.
Varun is busy wrapping up another film with Anushka Sharma while Alia is filming ‘Brahmastra’

with Ranbir Kapoor and Amitabh Bachchan. After wrapping up her portions, Sonakshi will leave

for the ‘Dabbang tour’ in the US and Canada which begins on June 22.
“The makers are on a tight schedule, trying to wrap up as soon as possible,” the source informed.

The actor has also started work on his home production ‘Prasthanam’, with a 20-day schedule

in a suburban studio in Mumbai. He will be shooting with Manisha Koirala, Ali Fazal and Amyra
Dastur. The film was flagged off on his mother Nargis Dutt’s birth anniversary on June 1.
