Picking the Order

As you work your way around the picking sequence and select the required stock items you need to
be aware of a number of factors:

 the use by date of the stock
 the condition of the stock

 the level of the stock in the stock
location
 the identification of the stock.

It is not always possible to wait for all items in a
storage area to be used up before the stock is
replenished. Some items of stock have use by or
expiry dates.

These include:
 food

 pharmaceuticals
 photographic film.
