Can we hear Mother Earth I wish she could forgive us
crying for help? for all the misery we’ve brought,
We know she’s our only home, but more than that,
yet we foolishly continue I wish we could change,
to damage her heart. for ourselves,
Do we know how much she cares? for our children
how much she loves her planet? and keep her beautiful
how much she loves us? for the next generation.
Can we hear her crying?
Can’t we see she’s dying? I promise, someday, soon
we will change,
Every time we cut down a tree so Mother, please don’t cry.
