The Dallas/Fort Worth Minority Supplier Development
Council has operated the U.S. Department of Commerce’s
Minority Business Development Agency - Business Center -
Dallas (MBDA) over the past nine years.

The mission of the Business Center is to assist minority-
owned businesses by providing them with business tools to
promote growth. This is in direct concurrence with the goals
and objectives of DFW MSDC, and the agency provides a
wealth of services and programs to assist minority-owned

The MBDA Business Center aligns its clients with federal, state
and local purchasing organizations and assists in bringing Center Performance
transactions to closure. The Center has several national April 1, 2019 - March 31, 2020
database systems that provide vital information for the success
of MBE businesses.
Access to Capital $166,076,366 awarded
The MBDA assists clients by packaging financial documents for contracts and procurement
Commercial/SBA loan programs, bonding assistance and $40,760,544 financial
factoring. The Center maintains strategic alliances with transactions
conventional and non-conventional financial institutions and 384 jobs created/retained
identifies their target markets.
