Generation Z

Hello everyone! Today I am here to deliver a speech on a topic entitled

generation Z let me begin here

Generation Z has been named the generation of technology, a generation

of lost childhood, a generation of ambitious group.

There’s speculation about where generation Z begins, but some people

says the oldest members of Generation Z are this year’s high school sen-

iors. Being a high school senior, I find it odd to be labelled in this way, but

I do see why we’ve accumulated these names. We may be the last in the

alphabet but we are the first for almost everything else. Gen Z has been

deemed the most technologically advanced generation, which isn’t neces-

sarily a blessing.

I must say! We’ve all grown up with technology, playing video games,
computer games and having any kind of movie at our finger tips, so it

would make sense that we’re more accustomed to and educated in tech-

nology. It is indeed a great thing isn’t?

Due to our early introduction of technology few people want to go out-

side, they’d rather tweet or play a video game. Travelling less outside as
inside life is enticing and turn away from physical activity, this explain that

why one third of youths are overweight and one fifth are obese?

We can text, read, watch, talk, eat all at the same time, a talent that stuns

adults. Everything is

just a click away. Information is easily accessible hence we have become

more impatient. To us five seconds of website loading feels like hours; the

thought of reading through a book to get an answer it would feel like an
eternity. Can you imagine?
