President’s Greetings
ellow pilgrims! I bring you Christian greetings from Aba, Abia State, the
Fheadquarters of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Nigeria, Eastern
Nigeria Union Conference.

Pmercy. He redeemed us out of darkness, the cruel slavery of Satan and evil
works, into the kingdom of grace, freedom, joy, light, and peace of His dear Son
Jesus Christ and unto good works.
oday, I rejoice with you as you dedicate the First Igbo Church in the United States of America. I rejoice
Tbecause nearly 100 years ago, the three angels message came to Eastern Nigeria through the ministry and
sacrifice of some American and Europeans.
eloved, I urge you in the name of the LORD, to continue to outdo one another in good works by using your
Bmeans to support God’s work. Continue to make disciples of all nations and raise more disciple-making
congregations as you watch and wait for Christ our Saviour’s return.
urge you to continue to be united and to love one another. I encourage you to preach and maintain the
I doctrinal authority and purity of the apostolic gospel. Do not allow the negative influences of or from the
cultural practices of the place where you live to form you into the mold of the corrupt age, but be pure and live
out the high Christian standard that Christ has set for us.
s you all can see, the events around indicate that Christ’s second coming is nearer than we think. While
AI encourage you to be steadfast in the faith, I would like to send my condolences to those who lost their
loved ones in the Irma disaster that ravaged Houston, Texas and Florida.
ay I also use this time to express my gratitude for your invaluable support for the projects at home,
Mespecially the medical missionary work that you have been supporting since 2015. Please keep it up and
remember the Clifford University project. We have started but we still have great needs.
Children of God, I hereby pronounce all the blessings and prayers recorded in 2 Chronicles 6:14-42 on all of
you and the church building in Jesus name. Amen.
