Almighty God, thank you for this ancient place of prayer:
for the Christian story expressed in the beauty of the stained glass;
for the font as the place of baptism for marking new Christians;
for lectern and pulpit from which the Scriptures are proclaimed and
explained;
for the holy altars around which your people gather to receive
Jesus in Bread and Wine to sustain us on our journey through life;
for small chapels and places where candles are lit, signs of prayer
and hope as people wrestle with the deep things of life;
for the beauty of this holy place maintained and cared for by the
people of Solihull.
Bless all who visit this place; touch us all with your love and
holiness, for you are a God of hope and renewal, now and for ever.
