Archimede’s Principle( Experimental study of upthrust)

Statement: Archimedes principle states “ When a body is completely or
partially immersed in a liquid, it experiences an upthrust which is equal to
the liquid displaced by it.

i.e. Upthrust (U) = Weight of the liquid displaced.

Devices based on Archimede’s principle are
Ships and sub-marines, lactometer, hydrometer etc.
