Nóra Soós belongs to the generation of painters who finished the Art Academy
10-15 years ago. She was a student of Dóra Mauer and was inspired by Júlia
Vajda. In her work she reflects on her own surroundings, her own life, her
being a woman. Sometimes she also reflects on social events like the hurricane
Katrina or the position of the poor and old people in Hungary. The composition
is made of at least two paired images or image groups layered one above the
other. It is more important for Soós to maintain humour and the possibility
of multiple views. This way the pictures become more than reflection for the
viewer, rather a kind of interactive-thinking game. In her latest works family life
plays a very important role.

在她最新的作品中, 家庭生活占据了非常重要的角色。
