4.4 คาํ บพุ บททใี่ ชในลักษณะอืน่ ๆ เชน

1) ใชเ พอ่ื บอกวิธีการเดนิ ทาง
 Pom used to go to school on foot.
 Toom went to work by car yesterday.
 Obb slept all the time in train.

2) แสดงหนว ยของภาชนะทใ่ี ชบ รรจุ
 Preecha bought three bottles of soft drink yesterday evening.
 Pat drank two cups of coffee this morning
 Pom gave a dozen of eggs to Toom.

3) ใชเ พอื่ แสดงผูกระทาํ ในประโยค Passive voice โดยมีโครงสรา งประโยค
Verb to be + past participle (กริยาชอง 3) + by + Noun (ผกู ระทาํ ) เชน

 The boy was hit by that car.
 He had his suitcase repaired last week by Hans.

4) ใชบ พุ บท with เพอ่ื แสดงผรู วมกระทํา เชน
 I go to the department store with Toom this afternoon.
 Pom usually has lunch with Preecha.
 My father went to the hospital with my sister yesterday.

5) ใชบ ุพบท as เพือ่ ใชส ําหรับเปรยี บเทยี บความเหมอื น เชน
 She is as tall as her sister.
 Jook is as clever as Jim.
