Greetings from JCI Beau-Bassin/Rose-Hill!

It is with immense honour to address you all in this second edition
of our newsletter. First of all I would like to congratulate the
hardworking team who have made this newsletter a success, so I
would like to thank the chief editor Avina Uckiah and our
hardworking designer Jiovanni Juliette who has put much effort
into it . As you will all notice our newsletter has undergone major
changes and together with everyone here we have decided to
name it Zen Actif. Why Zen Actif? It was one of our successful
projects in the past which aimed at helping the community. Zen
Actif also represents us all, the youth, the „‟actif‟‟ who are actively
serving our community.

This first six months have been a very hectic with all our projects
taking shape and seeing our members being empowered. We are
halfway through 2017 and maybe we should seize this
opportunity and ask ourselves, are we on the right track? If we are
moving away from our objectives right now is the moment for us
to adjust our sails and get back onto the right direction. We have
so much work left but as goes the famous quote:

“Alone we can do so little, together we can achieve so much
more‟‟
