Pendengaran menggunakan kedua-dua telinga disebut sebagai pendengaran stereofonik .
Pendengaran ini penting untuk menentukan arah dan kedudukan bunyi. Telinga yang
lebih hampir dengan sumber bunyi akan mendengar bunyi dengan lebih pantas dan kuat
berbanding telinga yang lagi satu. Otak mentafsir perbezaan tersebut dan kedudukan sumber bunyi
