              Study the height of your classmates. Complete the table below by
             guessing.

             (a)  The teacher divides the pupils into five groups. Determine the
                   tallest pupil in the groups.



                   [Guide: Each group needs to do the activities below.]
                    Draw one circle on the floor with a piece of chalk.

                     A pupil stands up straight in the circle.
                    A  second  pupil  stands  beside  the  first  pupil.  Compare  the
                       height of the two pupils. Only the taller pupil can be in the

                       circle.
                    Continue step  till the height of all the pupils in the group is
                       compared. [The last pupil standing in the circle is the tallest
                       in the group.]
             (b)  How  can  the  three  tallest  pupils  in  the  class  be  determined?

                   Discuss  the  ways  and  continue  to  find  out  the  three  tallest
                   pupils. Are your guesses in question 1 correct?
