Pernyataan masalah: Adakan cahaya dan karbon dioksida diperlukan dalam proses fotosintesis?
Problem statement: Are light and carbon dioxide needed in photosynthesis?
Hipotesis: Tumbuhan memerlukan cahaya dan karbon dioksida untuk fotosintesis.
Hypothesis: Plants need light and carbon dioxide for photosynthesis.
Pemboleh ubah / Variables:
(a) Pemboleh ubah dimanipulasikan: Kehadiran cahaya matahari / karbon dioksida
Manipulated variable: Presence of sunlight / carbon dioxide
(b) Pemboleh ubah bergerak balas: Perubahan warna larutan iodin
Responding variable: Colour change of iodine solution
(c) Pemboleh ubah dimalarkan: Jenis tumbuhan
Constant variable: Type of plant
Bahan: Tanaman pasu, larutan iodin, alkohol dan larutan kalium hidroksida.
Materials: Potted plants, iodine solution, alcohol and potassium hydroxide solution.
Radas: Kotak lutsinar, kotak legap, bikar, penunu Bunsen, tabung uji, rod kaca, kasa dawai, tungku kaki
tiga, jubin putih, penitis, forseps dan spatula
Apparatus: Transparent box, opaque box, beaker, Bunsen burner, test tube, glass rod, wire gauze, tripod stand, white tile, dropper,
forceps and spatula
Prosedur / Procedure:
1. Susunan radas disediakan seperti di bawah.

2. Selepas seminggu, daun dari set P, Q, R dan S diuji dengan larutan iodin untuk menguji kehadiran
kanji.
After a week, the leaves from sets P, Q, R and S are tested with the iodine solution to test the presence of starch.
