           1.  Place value and digit value of a number.
              Example: 53 917

           2.  Comparing numbers.
              Example:

              Compare the digits at hundreds because the digits at ten thousands and thousands are
              the same. Thus, 37 691 is smaller than 37 825.

           3.               Even Numbers                              Odd Numbers
               Numbers that have no remainder when       Numbers that have a remainder when
