10.1 Fenomena Gerhana Bulan dan Gerhana Matahari
Eclipse of the Moon and Eclipse of the Sun Phenomena

1. Nyatakan sama ada pernyataan di bawah BENAR atau SALAH.
State whether the statements below are TRUE or FALSE.

(a) Gerhana berlaku apabila Matahari, Bumi dan Bulan berada dalam satu
garisan lurus.
Eclipse occurs when the Sun, the Earth and the Moon are situated in a straight line.
(b) Gerhana bulan berlaku pada fasa anak bulan.
The Moon eclipse occurs during the new moon phase.
(c) Bulan kelihatan kemerahan semasa gerhana bulan kerana pantulan
cahaya.
The moon appears reddish during the moon eclipse due to reflection of light.
(d) Liyana dapat melihat gerhana matahari penuh kerana tinggal di kawasan
penumbra.
Liyana would be able to see the Sun eclipse because she lives in the penumbra area.
(e) Langit akan menjadi gelap semasa gerhana Matahari penuh.
The sky turns dark during the Sun eclipse.
(f) Gerhana Bulan biasanya berlaku pada waktu malam.
The Moon eclipse only happens during the night.
