                      Differentiate between the process with transpiration.

                      Gutasi membebaskan air dan garam mineral manakala transpirasi membebaskan air dalam bentuk wap air.
                      Guttation releases water and mineral salts while transpiration releases water in the form of water vapour.
                3.  Jalankan eksperimen di bawah bagi mengkaji faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi kadar transpirasi.   TP4

               Hipotesis/ Hypothesis:
               Keamatan cahaya, suhu, pergerakan udara dan kelembapan udara mempengaruhi kadar transpirasi
               Light intensity, temperature, air movement and air humidity affect the rate of transpiration
               Pemboleh ubah / Variables:
                (a)  Pemboleh ubah dimalarkan: Saiz dan jenis pokok
                    Constant variable: Size and type of plants
                 (b)  Pemboleh ubah dimanipulasikan: Keamatan cahaya / suhu / pergerakan udara / kelembapan udara
                     Manipulated variable: Light intensity / temperature / air movement / air humidity
                 (c)  Pemboleh ubah bergerak balas: Kadar transpirasi
                    Responding variable: Rate of transpiration
               Bahan dan radas / Materials and apparatus:
               Pokok keembung, air, minyak, kalsium klorida kontang, kapas, kelalang kon dan penimbang digital.
               Balsam plant, water, oil, anhydrous calcium chloride, cotton wool, conical flask and electronic balance.
               Prosedur / Procedure:
                 1.  Sediakan susunan radas seperti yang ditunjukkan.
                    Set-up the apparatus as shown.
                 2.  Timbang set radas itu seperti yang ditunjukkan di atas dan catatkan jisim   Kapas    Pokok

                    Repeat step 1-3 and carry out the following experiments.
                    (a)  Letakkan radas di tempat yang panas di luar makmal untuk mengkaji kesan suhu ke atas kadar
                        transpirasi.
                        Place the apparatus in a hot place outside the lab to study the effect of temperature on the rate of transpiration.
                    (b)  Biarkan radas di dalam almari legap untuk mengkaji kesan keamatan cahaya ke atas kadar transpirasi.
                        Leave the apparatus in opaque cupboard to study the effect of light intensity on the rate of transpiration.
