This workbook is written distinctively based on the Cambridge IGCSE Biology
2020−2022 and 2023−2025 syllabuses for (0610) and (0970) courses. The
scope, sequence and level of the workbook has been constructed to match the
Cambridge IGCSE Year 10 and Year 11 syllabuses.

A wealth of questions in the book sets a benchmark to prepare students for
the examination-based questions at Extended Level, which include both
multiple-choice and structured questions. In addition, this workbook provides

the ample questions in this book, students are on their path in developing the
fundamental scientific skills for progression to Cambridge International AS
and A Level, further education, or science-related professions.

Daniel Danny Kiiung Jia Hou from Sarawak in Malaysia, graduated from SMK Sacred Heart,
Sibu. He received his Bachelor of Science (Honors) in Wildlife Biology Degree from Institute
of Technology Tralee, Ireland. His greatest achievement was the rehabilitation of a rescued Cambridge IGCSE TM
loggerhead sea turtle (Caretta caretta), Sally which was returned to the Mediterranean Sea after
                     six months.

Nevertheless, Daniel initiated a wildlife research project in 2018 on the investigation of ‘The Distribution
of New Zealand Land Hooper, Arcitalitrus dorrieni in Ireland’. He cooperated with the National ACE YOUR
Biodiversity Data Centre of Ireland (NBDC) to study the alien species, the only shrimp species that
walks on land, which made its presence on the land of Ireland since 1903. On top of that, Daniel had
the privilege to attend an interview on Radio Kerry Ireland to broadcast his project nationwide.

He is currently a Biology tutor in Teras Murni Education Group, under Homeschool and Broadway BIOLOGY

opportunities for him to educate students, conducting educational and conservation trips, and raising
awareness on wildlife protection among our next generations. He always keeps this phrase in his mind
“I believe that education is all about being excited about something. Seeing passion and enthusiasm
                                                                                                                                        Workbook
helps push an educational message.”, quoted by his childhood hero, the late Steve Irwin.
