platform for students to listen to feedback, revise their learning strategy and strive to improve. Only
then is the summative assessment at the end of the PBL truly a reflection of their learning journey. I am
always saddened that some administrators only want to give prizes for top products of PBL but forget
to highlight the process, trials and tribulations and challenges that needed to be overcome in order to
reach the finishing line. I do hope that my simple notes do emphasise the need for formative assessments
along the way, and that the choice and voice of the students ring clear for each and every PBL attempt.
