Weight of recycling items in KG

The 10-month recycling programme held in SK Setia Jaya has shown an increase in the number
of recycling items collected by the Year 6 pupils. The teacher in charge, Mrs Rajes had made
arrangements for recycling items collected to be sold and the cash was given back to the
pupils to be put into their class fund. Some activities were also held whereby the pupils created
handicrafts from the recycling items collected. These handicrafts were later sold during the
Canteen Day and the proceeds were given to the headmaster to help fund the new school
library. The class with the heaviest weight of recycling items sold were given a prize.
