(a) 0.07 (b) 0.6 (c) 0.12
= (0.07 × 100)% = (0.6 × 100)% = (0.12 × 100)%

= 7% = 60% = 12%

(d) 1.09 (e) 3.4 (f ) 7.58
= (1.09 × 100)% = (3.4 × 100)% = (7.58 × 100)%

= 109% = 340% = 758%

6. Convert the following percentages to decimals. LS 2.3.1 PL 2

(a) 4% (b) 90% (c) 36%

= 4% ÷ 100% = 90% ÷ 100% = 36% ÷ 100%
= 0.04 = 0.9 = 0.36

(d) 208% (e) 710% (f ) 542%

= 208% ÷ 100% = 710% ÷ 100% = 542% ÷ 100%
= 2.08 = 7.1 = 5.42
