                  The diagram below shows the recipe used by Amirah and Masyitah to make bread dough.
                  They  mixed  flour,  warm  water,  yeast  and  sugar  into  a  bowl  and  mixed  the  mixture  until  it
                  became dough.


                                        Amirah:                                Masyitah:

                  They found that the bread mixture mixed with yeast rose. Once the mixture is baked, they
                  found that there are air holes on the bread. Why did this happen?

                  Adunan  roti  menjadi  kembang  kerana  yis  bernafas  dan  membebaskan  karbon  dioksida.
                  Gas-gas ini terperangkap di dalam doh dan menyebabkan rongga-rongga udara terbentuk.

                  Apabila  adunan  roti  dibakar,  gas  yang  terperangkap  tadi  mengembang  dan  adunan
                  menjadi masak dan akhirnya rongga-rongga kekal dalam roti yang telah masak.
