The university manages and operates the JGU Health Centre on a round-the-clock basis. The
Health Centre helps students, faculty and staff to achieve and maintain healthy lives and mental
wellness by providing the best primary medical care. The Health Center has 22 medical
professionals including six doctors, 13 nursing staff, and three physiotherapists. It has separate
wards for men and women, a minor Operation Theatre, an Intensive Care Unit, physiotherapy
treatment rooms, counselling rooms and a pharmacy. To handle emergencies, two ambulances
are available in the Health Center on 24x7 basis. JGU has tied up with all major hospitals in The Centre for Wellness and Counselling Services
