WHAT CAN YOU DO WITH YOUR UNWANTED CLOTHES?

Sell them online.
Donate them to orphanages, charity shops or charitable organisations.
Send them for recycling.

WHAT HAPPENS TO THE CLOTHES YOU HAVE SOLD OR DONATED?
Clothes will be resold and eventually be worn by their new owners.
Recycled into other products.

HOW ARE CLOTHES RECYCLED?

Clothes are dropped in donation bins, at clothing drive-through
collection points or recycling centres.

DONATION The clothes are then sorted into 3 categories:

reusables, rags and f bres. Next, the f bres
are sorted by composition and colour.

The f bres are torn, shredded, cleaned and mixed with other f bres
to produce new usable products like carpet padding, baseball
f lling and more.
