Read the story below and answer the questions that follow.

It was Sunday and Alicia had woken up at about the same

time like she did on every Sunday. She did not expect the day to be

any different for her Sunday routine usually began with a simple but

scrumptious breakfast at home. Her mother would prepare toast with

jam and a beverage for the whole family.

After breakfast, Alicia would go out to the garden to look at the

f owers. Her father whose job was a horticulturist had planted a variety

of f owers in their garden. Alicia was over the moon as she walked to

the f owers and took a close look at each of them. Then, she f lled a

watering can with water and began to pour the water slowly and gently

on each plant. Alicia delighted in seeing the plants refreshed. As she

watered, she also sang. When she arrived at the last f owering plant,

she dropped her watering can, and ran back in.
