➢ Learn about the fort which was built by the Portuguese in 1511
➢ See the church and off cial residence of the Dutch governors

12.45 p.m. • Lunch and tour of the Portuguese Settlement
➢ On the menu: Portuguese Baked Fish, Kapitan curry, Portuguese tarts

2.15 p.m. • Melaka Sultanate Palace
➢ Tour the wooden replica of Sultan Mansur Shah’s 15th century palace

4. 00 p.m. • Trishaw ride and Jonker Street
➢ Take a fun ride around Melaka city on a trishaw
➢ Shop for souvenirs in Jonker Street

5.30 p.m. • Back to Kuala Lumpur

Dear Diary,

I enjoyed my trip to 1 yesterday. First, we visited the A’ Famosa, Christ
Church and the Stadthuys buildings. Then, we stopped for lunch at the Portuguese Settlement.

We had Portuguese delicacies. I bought some sweet 2
to take home. After lunch, we visited the Melaka Sultanate Palace where Sultan Mansur

Shah lived in the 3 .

The trishaw ride and Jonker Street stops were 4 . It was my f rst

5 ride and the trishaws were beautifully decorated. I also had a whale

of a time 6 in Jonker Street.
