1 decade = 10 years 1 year = 12 months Example:
(a) 11 × 2 days 4 hours
÷ 10 ÷ 12 44 hours
× 24 × 7 = 22 days 44 hours = 1 day 20 hours
1 day = 24 hours 1 week = 7 days = 23 days 20 hours
÷ 24 ÷ 7 (b) 5 weeks 1 days × 5
= 25 weeks 5 days
6. Addition of up to three values of time. 9. Division of values of time.
Example: Example:
(a) 3 days 5 hours + 4 days 6 hours (a) 12 years 8 months ÷ 4
= 7 days 11 hours = 3 years 2 months
(b) 4 weeks 4 days + 2 weeks + 5 days (b) 29 decades 4 years ÷ 2
= 7 weeks 2 days
= 28 decades 14 years ÷ 2
9 days = 1 weeks 2 days
= 14 decades 7 years
