(a) The capital letter (A-Z) is used for 大写字母（A-Z）用于:

– the f rst letter at the beginning of a sentence 句子开头的首字母
e.g. My favourite colour is green.
T he boys are playing basketball.
– the f rst letter for a proper noun (names, places, days, months, etc.)
专有名词（名字、地方、周日、月份等）的首字母
e.g. We went to P angkor I sland last S aturday.
P eter and J ane were both born on F riday, the 3rd of J une.
– the pronoun ‘I’ 代词“I”
e.g. I love to eat chocolate cake.
My brother and I like jogging.
