Verb + ing
Use the ‘verb + ing’ after verbs such as ‘like’, ‘enjoy’, ‘prefer’, ‘hate’ or ‘dislike’. These verbs
talk about somebody’s likes and dislikes.
Examples:
Aff rmative Sheila enjoys baking.
Negative Thomas doesn’t like eating junk food.
Question Do you prefer picnicking or barbecuing?
