Reduction Linocut

I discovered this pine cone while walking in the

bush one day. It occurred to me that it would

make an interesting subject to create on a

monumental scale. I found the process of

breaking the image into separate layers and

then rebuilding it again as a three colour linocut

to be quite gratifying.
