People is the biggest source of contamination
• Personnel have an important role in production process, but
they are the greatest contamination source in a cleanroom.
• 80% of impurities present in a cleanroom originate from
people.
• People are the major source of viable particles present in a
cleanroom.
• Everything else in a cleanroom can be sterilized or
disinfected, EXCEPT PEOPLE.
