Around the WORLD in Year 4!
Travelling the world and taking in the sites of the Taj
Mahal and mud huts in a remote area of India-(Even
attempting to sell them in a most persuasive way.) Off to
Chembakolli, a village in India learning about their way of
life and daily chores. As children in WW11, we travelled to
the English countryside and wrote letters home. In History
we travelled to Rome, which took us onto the battlefield
armed with our homemade shields and swords.
Next up was travelling to Hogwarts, the School of Magic
and Wizardry, for Book Week, many experiments, solving
of mathematical problems and reading took place here.
Mulan took us to China and children had the opportunity
to showcase their many talents. Finally a class trip to
downtown Balad, where we experienced local cuisine,
visited old buildings and learned about the history of
Jeddah.
What a Great experience we shared together this year!
