Shell Federal Credit Union is celebrating the milestone of managing $1 billion in assets during
the 1st quarter of 2018. The credit union has expanded to serve Harris County over the past 81
years with 10 branches and more than 280 employees, however their commitment to exceptional

was chartered 81 years ago with 40 employees and their families from the Shell
Refinery in Deer Park, TX. Today Shell FCU is $1 billion in assets and over
90,000 members strong serving all of Harris County, Texas. Through God’s
grace and the leadership of tireless Shell FCU employees, hard work has paid
off by staying loyal to our cause of “people helping people”. With deliberate
