THE EVANS SCHOLARS FOUNDATION
Sending caddies to college since 1930
The Evans Scholars Foundation,
supported by the Western Golf
Association, is the nation’s largest
scholarship program for golf caddies.
The program provides full, four-year
tuition and housing scholarships to
deserving caddies, with grants valued
at more than $100,000 per Scholar.
Since the first two Scholars enrolled
at Northwestern University in 1930,
more than 10,600 young men and
women have graduated as Evans
Scholars. In 2017–18, 965 Scholars were
enrolled at 19 universities, most living
at one of 14 Foundation-owned
Scholarship Houses at top universities
throughout the country.
