INTRODUCTION OF FACILITIES PLANNING
SUMMARY
Facilities planning are a process that is dynamic over time. Facilities planning
determine how activity tangible fixed assets should contribute to meeting the activity’s
objective and consists of facilities location and facilities layout. Facilities planning also can
be approached using the engineering design process and it is continuous process and
should be view from a life-cycle perspectives.In this chapter we have studied that :
1. Definition of facilites planning.
2. Objectives og facilities planning.
3. Facilities planning process in order to designing, select and implement the best design
selected.
