PRE-FILTER

Water enters the top of the filter and goes

through the Electropositive Mechanical

(EM) Pre-Filter or media. The pre-filter
uses dual technology filtration, which is

a combination of mechanical filtration

and chemical electropositive attraction:

• The electropositive attraction traps

submicron (nano) particles.

• The mesh mechanically blocks larger
particles.

The pre-filter protects the main filter,

especially in challenging water situations.

MAIN FILTER

2 Aqua HD media
TM
Traps and retains bacteria, cysts, viruses. Water

passes through the Aqua HD main filter. Here
TM
is where the in-depth filtration happens: The filter
mesh is tighter and the adsorption is even stronger.

3 High-flow carbon core
Adsorbs chlorine, lead, tastes, odors. Water flows

through a carbon filter which is impregnated with
silver.

The slightly open structure of the carbon core

adsorbs while maintaining high water flow. The
silver prevents the growth of bacteria, making the Page 40

filter bacteriostatic. Excercise 8
