COMMITMENTS

SOL’S THE FAIR SPIRIT: A STATE OF MIND.

Faithful to its values and with its social and environmental responsibilities in mind, SOL’S innovates in the manufacture and style of its products as well as in the choice of its partners in order to offer you the
guarantees and certifications you are entitled to.

                     FAIR WEAR FOUNDATION

Our commitments principally result in our desire to establish labour standards aimed at improving working conditions in our factories.
This is the reason why SOL’S joined the international association Fair Wear Foundation in 2014, committing itself to respect and enforce in its factories the following standards:

Employment is freely Freedom of association Payment of a living Safe and healthy working There is no discrimination No exploitation of child No excessive working Legally binding

                                    bargaining

By joining the Fair Wear Foundation, SOL’S is also committed to make improvements in line with current social standards (bringing concrete improvements in labour standards
in collaboration with plant managers), based on an action plan approved by the Fair Wear Foundation. Every year, SOL’S commits itself to provide a status report containing
the improvements made to the Fair Wear Foundation.
The Fair Wear Foundation (FWF) is an independent, non-profit organisation that works with companies and factories to improve labour conditions for textile and garment workers.
The Fair Wear Foundation’s Code of Labour Practices is based on the conventions of the International Labour Organisation and the United Nations. The 70 member companies represent
nearly 100 brands and are based in seven European countries. The FWF is active in 15 production countries in Asia, Europe and Africa.
