ASHA- The Hopeful World!

                                                                   Nabyanshaa Biswas (Age: 5 Years)

Once upon a time there was a little girl called Asha who believed in the fairy-world with
all her heart! She loved everything about the fairies- their hard work, their love for nature ,
their magical presence and all. Being a human, she was sad to see her real world so dirty,
polluted and people fighting among each other sometimes. She travelled lots of places
with her parents and saw many instances where nature was getting polluted and the
natural habitats were getting wasted. Asha was disheartened to see the birds and fish
dying. She wanted some magic like fairyland to clean her surroundings. But Asha didn’t
have any clue how she could do this. No one would listen to her as she was just a kid.

One day she prayed to the fairy Godmother to take her to fairyland. The reason was she
wanted to see, how fairies take such good care of nature. Asha saw each and every
fairy was very responsible in their duties. To her surprise she found that they work together
in teams and strictly follow the rules. The first rule was to plant trees regularly and not to
cut the forest unnecessarily. The second rule was not to throw garbage here and there.
The third rule was not to waste food and other natural resources. Along with all these they
never harmed animals and maintained a healthy lifestyle for all. The fairy princess
suggested her to try and make a team to protect the environment together.

Then she came back with hope inside her heart. She formed a team with her friends,
teachers, and gardener uncle. They all tried to spread the message by road-play, songs,
flash-mob, stories etc. Some people understood and came forward to help. Asha chose
an old banyan tree as the wishing tree which would inspire everyone to be kind just the
way it provided shelter to the birds and shadow to the pedestrians. Like the wishing-tree,
they should also be benevolent to mother nature.

Asha found out how nature was getting hurt and what were the tricks to prevent them.
Burning coal and gas in factories and vehicles causes air-pollution. Harmful chemicals like
CFC is damaging the Ozone layer. Usage of insecticides and pesticides kills marine
animals and birds. Asha requested everyone to use more cycles instead of cars, lessen
the AC usage and utilize organic fertilizer and compost. Soon more and more people
joined them. They got help from other organizations and government also. Soon her own
world became slowly like the fairy-world.

It was a majestic and peaceful world in the solar-system. When the news came to
fairy-land, all the fairies including Tinkerbell and her friend Sofia were amazed by Asha’s
         extra-ordinary work!
