When an organiza�on makes a public
statement referencing their corporate
mission is to improve the community, there
must be a clear vision iden�fied to meet
that commitment. Programs must be
developed to address community problems,
goals must be a�ached to each program to
measure results, and improvements must
be created to con�nue the success of each
individual program. With a number of
issues that the members of communi�es
face on a daily basis, the execu�ve team,
management, and volunteers of said

VOTER REGISTRATION AND MOBILIZATION
Chapters facilitate and par�cipate in ac�vi�es that
upli� their communi�es through the power of the
vote.
MANHOOD SCHOLARSHIP PERSEVERANCE
Committed to the Community on a Global Scale
“Friendship is Essential
to the Soul” ACHIEVEMENT WEEK
Observed each November and is
designed to recognize those individuals
at the local and interna�onal levels who
have contributed to community upli�. A
High School Essay Contest is to be held
in conjunc�on with Achievement Week.
TALENT HUNT PROGRAM
A program that provides exposure,
encouragement and financial assistance
to talented young people par�cipa�ng in
the performing arts. Winners are
awarded recogni�on and may be given
college scholarships.
SOCIAL ACTION PROGRAMS
that will upli� their communi�es. Some
of the ac�vi�es include: Habitat for
Humanity, Voter Registra�on, Assault on
Illiteracy, mentoring, and par�cipa�on in
fundraisers for charitable organiza�ons.
FOUNDED HEALTH INITIATIVES
1911 HEALTH INITIATIVES - Chapters facilitate,
par�cipate and coordinate ac�vi�es that
promote good health prac�ces. Some of
the programs are the Charles Drew
Blood Drive and partnership with the
American Diabetes Associa�on.
