The Judges
Keegan Boldin is a Canadian Music Producer who has a broad under-
standing of multiple styles and genres of music. Keegan has worked his way
through many different platforms of the music industry which includes tour-
ing across southern Ontario and Quebec in local bands, with live TV perform-
ances and radio airplay, to earning two diplomas at Metalworks Institute and
working under Juno award winning Producer Gavin Brown. You can find sam-
ples of Keegan’s music production and songwriting work on History channel’s
American Pickers and any online streaming service. Samples of his editing
work will be featured on Poesy’s 2019 EP and Havelin’s “The Further I Go”
2019 single produced by Gavin Brown. Keegan is now focusing his personal
audio business and studies on Virtual Reality (VR) and Augmented Reality (AR)
spatial production for games, apps and local artists.
Liam Connor began his musical career as a bass player and vocalist
in an electronic hardcore rock band, taking the role of producer and record-
ing engineer for the band’s first recordings. His interest in music production
lived on long after the band broke up and eventually brought him to Trebas
Institute. After his graduation, Liam worked in the industry as an audio engin-
eer and music producer, including work for TV and Film. After 4 years of in the
industry, Liam returned to Trebas to become a music production Instructor at
Trebas Institute, which is where he resides today. Liam continues to sing and
record as a Pop/R&B artist.
Paulo Pereira is a vocalist and songwriter. He was a finalist in the
CBC’s 2004 “Great Canadian Music Contest”. In 2008, he represented Canada’s
Portuguese community at RTP’s Lusavox Festival. Currently, Paulo is the co-
founder of Project 5, an organization that helps youth travel to remote First
Nations communities to implement arts and sports programs. He helped or-
ganize the first Attawapiskat Music Festival with the support of Sony Music
Canada and the participation of Canadian artist Tyler Shaw. The past year
alone, Project 5 organized two music festivals, three dance programs, and one
drama program in the remote First Nation community of Attawapiskat. He is
also is about to release his first full album in Portuguese, titled Se Formos Um,
which he wrote and composed.
