LABOUR DAY

PARADE

Each year the

Executive Board,

staff and members of Local 506 march
the Toronto streets in the Annual Labour
Day Parade in recognition of the ongoing
battle for justice in and out of the workplace.
On this day we unite together to celebrate,
but more importantly to remember those
union leaders who took the lead to fight
for the rights of workers. 2019 marked the
125-year anniversary of Labour Day being
celebrated as a national holiday and
showcasing the strength and solidarity of
workers.
