FUNDRAISER For 28 years LiUNA Local 506, in partnership with the
General Contractors’ Section, have hosted the Annual
Annual Nick Barbieri Charity Nick Barbieri Charity Bocce Ball Tournament.
Longtime partners get together to enjoy this day on the
Bocce Ball Tournament bocce court; all for a good cause.
Every year Local 506 chooses a charity that has, at
some point, affected one of our members or their
families. In the last 28 years we have raised funds
for many charities including the Starlight Starbright
Children’s Foundation, Waves of Change for Autism,
Mens Sana, the Thalassemia Foundation, Food 4 Kids
Mississauga, Huntington Society, the Palliative Care
Unit of the Hospital for Sick Children’s Foundation, and
many more.
We will forever be grateful to the support and
contributions of all our volunteers and sponsors as they
have assisted us in helping those in our community.
